Preview an app through the lens before you install it
Store screenshots are flat. Glass Mode shows the app inside a simulated lens: how wide the display is, whether you see it with one eye or both, and whether it moves with your head or stays fixed in the room.
Pick the device
Lens shape and field of view change per device. A monocular HUD shows a small panel in one eye, and a headset shows a full window.
Look around
Move your mouse or tilt your phone. Head-locked HUDs follow your view, and world-locked ones stay pinned in the room.
Use your camera
Turn on the camera to put the HUD over your real surroundings. Nothing is recorded or uploaded.

Smart glasses apps: common questions
Can you install apps on Ray-Ban Meta glasses?+–
Not like a phone. Ray-Ban Meta glasses have no app store on the glasses. Apps connect through the Meta AI companion app on your phone, and they work by voice and audio.
Do XREAL glasses run Android apps?+–
XREAL glasses work as a display for a phone, PC or console. Phone apps appear on the glasses when you mirror your screen or use XREAL's own software. Spatial (6DoF) features depend on the model and on app support.
What is the difference between head-locked and world-locked AR?+–
Head-locked content moves with your head and always stays in the same spot in your view. World-locked content stays fixed in the room while you look around. World-locked content needs 6DoF tracking.
What does Glass Mode on GlassHub show?+–
Glass Mode is a browser simulation of how an app's HUD looks through a given pair of glasses: lens shape, field of view, mono vs stereo display and head- vs world-locked behaviour. It is a preview, not the real device output.
